1. Combine quinoa and water in a small pot. Cover and simmer on low heat until all water has evaporated, about 15 minutes.
2. While quiona is cooking, warm vegetable oil in large pan and sautee grated sweet potatoes until soft.
3. In a large bowl, mix prepared quinoa with sauteed sweet potatoes, beans, and spices. Mash together and form into patties.
4. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add patties and cook for 5-8 minutes, flipping halfway through. Serve on bun with your favorite hamburger toppings!
