Peanut Butter and Banana Dairy-Free Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 2 Tablespoons Teddie Organic Peanut Butter (chunky or smooth is fine)
  • 1/2 Taza Chocolate Disc, broken into small chips
  • Water, if needed to facilitate blending

Recipe

This is a fast, healthy treat containing no dairy or added sugar. And it's a great way to use up over-ripe bananas!

Peel overripe bananas and store in sealed plastic bag in freezer for up to one month.

Break the frozen bananas into chunks and toss them into a mini food processor, along with the peanut butter. 

Blend until the bananas are pureed, adding a tablespoon or two of water to help facilitate blending, if necessary. Add the chocolate chips and quickly pulse until combined.

Serve immedately for a smooth, soft-serve consistency, or freeze until hard. Serves 1-2.
