In my free time I volunteer at my daughter's school and I am a Girl Scout troop leader. I worked as bookkeeper for 13 years at the Dance Complex in Cambridge, and have been teaching Dance at UMass, Boston for the past 12 ... years.
I started with Boston Organics as a temp in August 2017 and recently became a permanent part of the team. When I’m not crunching the numbers or teaching dance, I enjoy cooking, playing basketball, and spending time with my two dogs Daisy & Lucy.

I own too many guitars and punk rock records. I live in Brookline with my future wife. I love leaving town, and once in a while my band ... goes on tour. I try to bike everywhere I go. I will read anything written by H.G. Wells, Ray Bradbury or Jules Verne.
I spend my weekends making cut/paste record art, fliers, and posters for bands by standing at a copy machine for hours. I like listening to loud music, seeing bands, cooking, and going to the movies.

From 1990-1992, I served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Comoros Islands off the coast of East Africa. While a volunteer, I taught high school English; I also helped get funds ... to build a central marketplace in my village for the local growers, artisans, and fishermen.
After Peace Corps, I went to the Fletcher School at Tufts and got a Masters degree with a focus on Environmental Economics and International Business in 1995. I then moved to San Francisco. While in SF I subscribed to a similar service called Planet Organics. In 2002, my wife and I decided to head back east to be closer to our families. It was at that point that I decided to start Boston Organics, with the goal of bringing fresh local and organic produce to the people of the Boston area. With help from my late grandfather, I purchased a van, posted a few fliers around town and started the business.
Most of my free time outside of work is joyfully spent with my wife and three boys cooking, eating, sampling craft beers (New England IPAs) and rowing crew with the Gentle Giants Rowing Club.
